Labor Day weekend 2026 marks a year since our STRIKE Elite efforts at the 5v5 SuperFlag Invitational. Since then, a lot has changed, including a renewed focus on rebuilding our competitive team from scratch.

This new approach will concentrate on three concepts:

1. Fielding a roster that platforms our high-level, high school-aged athletes. We call this competitive group “STRIKE Black”.

2. Building a collection of STRIKE athletes who train alongside our Competitive Group, enhancing their competitive edge and elevating the overall level of play in STRIKE LEAGUE. We call these prospects “STRIKE White”.

3. Honoring our players' desire to compete in their number one sport by working alongside it rather than demanding their full attention. One practice per week, one event per month. We aim for this approach to encourage other standout athletes to try flag football without the anxiety of sacrificing time from their main sport.

This is not a travel-exclusive team. We do not want to fill our calendar with as many tournament dates as possible. Instead, we will focus on developing individual skills, learning strategies, and gaining experience through occasional high-stakes tournament play, college jamborees, and USA Football ID combine camps to prepare for opportunities in college and beyond. This sport will continue to grow as we grow, and we will meet it when it is ready for its moment.
